Truely we are going to have to have an attitude of Persistence to continue through, what will be years of protest. Sorry, that does sound overwhelming in itself. But historically protest takes time. Not that we won't see victories along the way. But if we have an attitude that we have the inner conviction that we can go the long haul, that will help us in the short run. Be aware when you need a break. I've strategically set aside "no news weekends" for me. Stop for seasons if you need to. Come back refreshed, to refresh others. But, be confident, I believe we'll ultimately win. Perhaps a side of me is naively optimistic, but I think that's important for my forward motion. I believe Truth will win out, and I do hope there are more of us with compassion in our hearts and a burning need to be kind, to all, than there are those that hate and discriminate. Hope is essential sometimes in forward motion. We will persist, and not give up!
